Shana S. Cohen is an architect with experience teaching technical and design studio courses in several higher education venues. Her knitting pattern writing combines experience of geometry and writing design syllabi. Shana’s knitting patterns are mostly modular designs, and mostly garter stitch! Patterns provide legible instructions that allow the knitter to customize their own work in the process. Designs pay attention to maximizing yardage and providing adaptable styling options. Shana loves connecting with individuals, helping them to become the best version of themselves. Her knitting patterns are written in a way to foster creative expression.
