Desiree Scarborough is a Brooklyn native and a RISD 2020 Grad. Her work focuses on ideas and stories that she hasn’t seen before or hasn’t seen told from her perspective. Most inspiration comes from dreams, over-exaggerations of situations she’s been in, stories from her family members about their childhoods, and the people from her home city of Brooklyn. Desiree creates work that is best described as wearable art, bridging the gap between apparel and fine art.

Desiree is currently freelancing out of her family’s living room in Brooklyn, NY, open to collaborations and customers!
