PETER J. THORTON [1978, BFA ILLUSTRATION]

Based in Providence, RI

Peter is a Providence, Rhode Island native. He lives in the Mt. Hope section of the East Side where he was born in 1956. His works features the diverse neighborhoods and residents of his beloved hometown. A 1978 graduate of Rhode Island School of Design in Illustration, his career has included children’s arts television, children’s book illustration, art instruction, and now, fine art prints of pastel originals.
