Powell’s abstract work explores channels of awareness, inviting the viewer into a conscious exchange where perception itself becomes the subject. Her paintings are intended to open space for reflection and foster a deeper connection to one’s inner life. She also creates Soul Colors, digital images derived from the numbers in a birthdate, and also customizes them to specific colors for other projects. Powell works from her home studio in Austin, Texas, where she is also a practicing evolutionary astrologer. Her work is held in private collections internationally.
