Judy Lanfredi is a native Rhode Islander, who has always been connected to the Rhode Island School of Design. As a child, she frequently visited the RISD Museum, then developed her art education at RISD’s pre-college program and weekend classes. Judy earned her B.F.A. in Illustration, after spending a year in Rome as part of RISD’s acclaimed European Honors Program. Italy profoundly shaped her life and continues to inspire her creativity. Judy has illustrated numerous children’s books & book jackets. Her belief in the healing power of art has opened a channel for her to combine her spiritual & artistic gifts, both as an art educator and in her art practice.
