Ronnie McClure views the landscape not only from the ground but on high and is amazed by the vastness of the earth. He is reminded of our insignificance in relation to nature’s humble yet dramatic presence. Ronnie uses common technology as his primary tools to reimagine the scene by drawing, painting, and manipulating the compositional elements in order to obtain a pseudo abstract that transforms into an “otherness.” McClure desires to create a reflective experience that embodies a spectrum of both emotion and insight.
